About Aikido of Norwalk (Kongōshinkan Dōjō)

金剛心館 道場 or “Kongōshinkan Dōjō” means Diamond Mind Dojo or Indestructible Truth Mind Dojo and was started in 2022. Yanagi Aikido was officially closed and Kongōshinkan Dōjō was open at the request of Guibault Sensei along with Noble Sensei’s approval. Dr. Robert Brody is the owner or to use the Japanese phrase, dojocho.

Yanagi Aikido Dojo

Yanagi Aikido was opened in 1999 under the direction of Corey Guilbault. A few years after opening the dojo, Jason Goldstein stepped up as co-dojocho to help Guilbault sensei manage operations and to teach. Yanagi Aikido had a few physical locations over the years including Norwalk Community College but settled in at 16 Commerce Street in 2004.
