Aikido of Norwalk (Kongoshinkan Aikido) is affiliated with the Zenshinkai Aikido Association, a United-States-based organization of dojo committed to developing and maintaining the philosophy that mind and body are one through the training methods of aikido, zen and related budo.

To accomplish its mission it is the belief of the ZAA, that for the long-term growth of the Aikido arts that consistent and quality professional instruction must be instituted and maintained. The ZAA’s instructional program is instituted and maintained by the Chairman and Chief Instructor Greg Noble Sensei under the teaching methodology of the late Fumio Toyoda Shihan and Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba.

To ensure that its mission is achieved the ZAA offers an organized method of instruction specifically oriented toward quality instruction of the ZAA philosophy which is further promulgated through clinics, camps, seminars and it’s National Instructors Seminar. Additionally, the ZAA offers instructor certification at various levels, continuing education opportunities for its instructors, and instruction manuals.
